About Us

Church Mouse Studio Gallery was opened in 2000 by Hilary Scoble. Hilary, with her husband Richard, have been in the arts and crafts field for over twenty years. Hilary is a painter and illustrator and Richard a leathercraftsman and silversmith. Richard had been working in his craft prior to meeting Hilary and their marriage had enabled them to combine their talents.

Church Mouse Studio Gallery is running primarily as an art and print gallery with Hilary as the resident artist. Art work of other artists is also welcomed for exhibition. The gallery also promotes craft based gifts and art based cards.

The aims of the Church Mouse Studio is to offer quality arts and crafts based gifts to the public and to promote the development of the arts both locally and world-wide.

The gallery produces a Newsletter "Mousehole", giving details of exhibitions and events taking place, particularly when the gallery's artists are involved. It also gives information about the arts and crafts.
